Alarm clock on iPad AD logo?

Some days, I open my iPad Pro and see an alarm-clock icon within the Affinity Designer icon.

Any ideas what this is all about?

I think that describes the same issue.  Looks like it is a feature of IOS and you can disable it by disabling suggested apps (which is covered on the above link).
