MikeFromMesa Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 I have been trying to find some way to flip a selection horizontally. That is, I have selected part of an image (in this case a barn door) and I wish to flip only the selected door horizontally. I have tried making the selection and "flip horizontal" but that flips the entire image. I have looked for a way to make a layer out of only the selection and flip it, but even if I do that I will end up with the door in the wrong place. Is there some way to do what I am trying to do? Thank you.
TomM1 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Once you have copied the selected area to it's own layer. Choose the move tool, right click over the selection to reveal the transform choice. website Mac mini M4 24 GB, LG 4K display, Canon 6DII, Mac 15.4.1

I was thinking that there might be some way to flip a selection without having to create a new layer with that selection on it (and then try to align everything), but I guess this is the best way to do it. Thank you.
TomM1 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 I also would hope that they add a layer from selection command. website Mac mini M4 24 GB, LG 4K display, Canon 6DII, Mac 15.4.1
