276ccm
Is there a way to see the document size in AD on iPad.. i just saw that AD was using 22 GB of my total iPad storage, and I don’t have too many files, or documents.. Well, some brushes and assets, but.. Some documents are saved and some are not.. Anyway, what is the best way to see the size of each document/canvas/project.. :-)
276ccm
Really, no way to see the document size? Or is it too obvious to know this? :-) My next iPad will for sure have more storage, but this one was all I could afford.. :-)
toltec
I don't think you can. The iPad is a not like a proper computer with a normal filing system Most files are stored inside the app's allocated memory, or maybe the cloud. Apple seem obsessed with making a 'portable' tablet tied to a wi-fi network and the internet. Which sort of defeats the object? If you save the files out to the cloud you can find out, but there is no guarantee they will be the same size as in the app. 276ccm 1 Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions. Paul Mudditt
The app’s internal storage really shouldn’t be seen as somewhere you save all your work, it is a sandbox which manages auto saves but will be completely lost if you had to delete the app for any reason. Your important work should be saved to another location, I use iCloud Files which is accessible from my Mac or PC for simple file archival and recovery purposes. 276ccm 1 Quote My dad always told me, a bad workman always blames their tools….
