Imelda
Can anyone tell me if Photo or Designer allow you to see how a chart would look for someone who is colour blind? If so, could you direct me please? Apparently you can do this in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator by selecting View-Proof Setup-Color Blindness. It would be good for a particular job I'm about to start.
Staff stokerg Posted September 5, 2018 Staff Share Posted September 5, 2018 Hi Imelda and Welcome to the Forums, We don't have this built into the app as such. If you see this link it's come up before and if you could get a ICC profile for colour blindness, then it's possible the soft proof adjustment could work
Imelda
Thank you for the link to this other thread. I just tried soft proofing colours and it didn't make much of a difference to the document as it stands and I don't know enough about ICC options to know what would be the one I need. Perhaps a colour-blindness feature can be worked into Affinity in the future? Thanks for responding. Evgeny Katyshev
Gear maker
I wonder how Adobe can do this as there are several types of color blindness. Some of which are: Protanomaly, which is a reduced sensitivity to red light Deuteranomaly, which is a reduced sensitivity to green light Tritanomaly, which is a reduced sensitivity to blue light Quote iMac (27-inch, Late 2009) with macOS Sierra
