@Proxymus, there is no Revert to Saved command currently, nor is there a Master toggle (like in Aperture) which toggles between the saved (or original) version and the currently loaded version of the file by simply pressing the M key on the keyboard. Hopefully the Devs will get this one in there as well. In the meantime, you can use the History palette to quickly drag the slider all the way to the left (original state) and all the way to the right (current state); that's a temporary workaround, I know...

 

Perhaps that's the easiest way to implement this feature: a keyboard equivalent  (m for master, please!) that toggles between the current Undo state and the first Undo state, when the file was open. Devs....?

@Proxymus, another way is to group all your layers above the origional background layer, then you can toggle the visibility of the group of layers as one, leaving behind your original image – assuming you edited the original image non-destructively using layers  ;)
