Rupert Hitchcox
Hi I know there have been topics on batch processing but I keep hitting a problem, I'm wanting to resize and watermark my photos to send to clients, but when recording the macro it says it can not record the save instruction in the macro. is there a workaround for this, as it basically means you can not do any batch processing even though the option is there. v_kyr
Leave out the saving (export process) out of the macro and instead apply the recorded macro to the APh batch processing feature, which will perform the export (saving) for you then. Further note that automatically resizing/placing watermarks in images etc. is still very fuzzy at the moment in APh. Rupert Hitchcox
Thank you for the information. Really appreciate your help, these images are for social media and proofs so quality is not the big issue, so I can live with that.
v_kyr
Well if it doesn't hurt in your case, if the watermark size might be distorted and oddly resized during macro autoplacing processing, since placing/resizing is not dynamically (re)calculated for different image sizes, then this might be the way for you to go. Give it a try. Fuggle
Hi I am having the same problem. I place a watermark on the picture and try to export it and the macro will not record exporting the photo. Is there a way round this. I am new to Affinity having used photoshop without any problem for years.
