RobinK
Hi guys, I want to create graphics similar to the foreground graphics in the game "Badland"(see the link). https://lh3.ggpht.com/CL2I2FvTbgALnLDJfnUQSPMMJ9fbIv6CzJRl4F4u5x7tW2nqrkTkC8F37sQympBpsWs%3Dh900 For example: To create the gears, you can see on the picture, I´d use a circle shape and some rectangle shapes. But this looks too synthetic, since the shapes are to regular. When you look at the cogs you see that it seems there are some edges were broken out and all in all the gear appears more natural. What is the best approach to achieve this effect? Should I create some small irregular shapes and use Boolean operations to cut something out? Or should I manupulate the paths of the gears by hand? Or is there even an effect in the pixel persona? Thanks in advance!
psaldari
In the tool palette expand the submenu of the triangle shape and select the cog. Adjust the cog shape as you like, for a non regular stroke use, or create for yourself, a brush. Done.
ronnyb
LOL, @psaldari... Talk about stumbling upon the best tool for the job! In the tool palette expand the submenu of the triangle shape and select the cog. Adjust the cog shape as you like, for a non regular stroke use, or create for yourself, a brush. Done.
