I have Mac os licenses for both Photo and Designer that were purchased through Apples App Store.

Had I bought for Windows the license would also work on Mac os. How do I get my Mac licenses to run on Windows instead?

My hardware is the same, just dual boot machine but I don't want to keep booting into Mac os to edit photos etc

Why do you think that buying a Windows license would have let it work on a Mac? All the Affinity licenses are specific to a particular OS.

If you buy for Windows it's licensed only for Windows, and is you buy for Mac it's licensed only for Mac.

There are no Mac licenses for any app you bought through the Mac App Store. They are all tied to the Apple ID you used when you bought them.

All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.4.1 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7
Affinity Photo
