cainicles Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 Hi all, I've been considering jumping ship from Adobe to Affinity software, and I thought I'd give the trial version of Designer a go. Since I mainly use vector software to create logos and minimalist artwork, I often have the grid turned on and will snap any curves etc to the grid to ensure that they are accurately designed. However, I can't seem to figure out how to do this in Designer; I've tried adjusting the snapping settings, screen tolerance, grid settings etc. but I can still only get the main nodes to snap to the grid - I've attached an image to show what I'm talking about. Am I missing something, or is there no way to snap these smaller nodes to the grid? Jowday 1 Quote
Staff MEB Posted July 26, 2018 Staff Posted July 26, 2018 Hi cainicles, Welcome to Affinity Forums Currently you are only able to snap the nodes (not the handles) to the grid. In version 1.7 (still not released) you should also be able to snap the handles of the nodes to the grid. Affinity Revolution and cainicles 1 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
