  1. After recently moving to Designer from Illustrator, one of the main tools that I used when designing logos etc. was the shape builder tool. It was a major part of my workflow and I was disappointed to find that there is no equivalent in Designer. I know that there are tools that can create similar results such as the divide/combine features but none are as quick and efficient as the shape builder tool. I think a similar tool would be a fantastic addition to Designer as myself and many others would appreciate the feature, especially those coming from Illustrator. From my understanding it should be fairly simple to implement due to the existence of similar functions as mentioned previously - even if these options could be rolled into one handy tool that would be fantastic.
  2. Hi all, I've been considering jumping ship from Adobe to Affinity software, and I thought I'd give the trial version of Designer a go. Since I mainly use vector software to create logos and minimalist artwork, I often have the grid turned on and will snap any curves etc to the grid to ensure that they are accurately designed. However, I can't seem to figure out how to do this in Designer; I've tried adjusting the snapping settings, screen tolerance, grid settings etc. but I can still only get the main nodes to snap to the grid - I've attached an image to show what I'm talking about. Am I missing something, or is there no way to snap these smaller nodes to the grid?
