Re Apply a Filter

Hi All,

  Is there an option/setting in which we can quickly reapply the same filter again on the layer. This option is present in Photoshop and I am migrating from the same.

Example:-

I select a Layer and using Plugins I apply Noise Reduction - Neat Image. Once I completed. I generally need to apply Less NR on the subject and more NR on the background.

In this case, I have 2 layers subject on 1 layer and background in 1 Layer. I select NR on the subject once and then I need to apply the same NR 2/3 times on the background.

Is there a quick way to just apply the same NR multiple time on background layer. I am used to do the same thing in photoshop.

If you go in the "Filters" menu, there is a "Repeat" option at the top or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Alt + F

Welcome to Affinity Forums
The command (Repeat Filter) @toltec suggested only works with internal (destructive filters). It doesn't work with external plugins. There's no way to do this for external filters.

Thank you I was trying to get it to work for external plugins. It used to work for External Plugins for Photoshop. Not sure why it is not working for Affinity Photo

I wish it worked with external plugins as well. It used to work in Photoshop
