Alt click layer option?

Recommended Posts

Alt click a layer hides all others. I'd like to see an option (ctrl alt click??) to make other layers have a small transparency rather than being invisible. Similar to Illustrator Isolation Mode.

Even though it is not the same and not as quick you can select all layers except the one you want to see completely and then hit '2'. This dims everything to 20% transparency. Hit '0' and you are back to 100%.

I am aware that this is not easy with many layers and not very practical if you want to work on the fully visible layer.

Also, if you have some layers which you want to have some transparency you would need to remember not to put them to 100%. It could all get a bit messy.

That is a valid point :)
