SlipperyBrick
I'm getting slightly frustrated with Affinity Designer, I have dropped Illustrator to learn this software and whilst I was impressed at the start of using it and found it very easy to move from Illustrator to Designer I'm starting to notice a lot of things that are missing or that just make certain things impossible to do in Affinity Designer. The grid settings are fantastic and the zoom is great, these tools really help design icons perfectly but one thing that completely ruins this is the stroke. You have to be careful with the numbers you put in the stroke because Designer doesn't seem to like numbers that go to two decimal places such as 0.75, or 0.25, etc, numbers like this get changed to 0.8 or 0.2. This breaks any kind of workflow where you want to design pixel perfect icons at a very small scale. Will this be changed at some point? Also a recent update came out for Designer and I can't seem to find any kind of blog or change log showing what was included in the update. Decimal numbers in the Affinity app are accurate to around 8 or more decimal places internally, but as @dutchshader said, in preferences you can change the number of displayed decimal places for the various unit types to anything from 0 to 6. Release notes (change-lists) for each version of the apps are available via links in the Latest Affinity releases on each platform by store post.
