johnlc
I'm brand new to Affinity Photo and would like to use it to process infrared images. I have seen the tutorial on producing simulated IR images but am thinking of getting a camera converted for IR use. I've used a friend's IR converted camera and when I brought the images into Affinity they still had a browny/red tinge to them. The minimum Kelvin temperature on the White Balance slider seemed to be 2000k. But I understand that it needs to be adustable between about 1200-1800k in order to remove the colour cast. Is it possible to do this in Affinity? Thanks
Staff Dan C Posted April 9, 2018 Staff Share Posted April 9, 2018 Hi johnlc, Welcome to the forums Unfortunately when developing an image the lowest temperature you can set is 2000K currently. I'd recommend posting on our feature requests section so our developers could consider this option for a future update! Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks! firstdefence
I don't know whether this would help at all but I read a post about white balance below 2000K. HERE he made a small app as well.
