Aff Designer & Aff Photo -Actual situation : 1 or more Files already open (either new, or existing).

When next opening an additional file with the first file already open, ( File > Open )

sometimes the Finder window remains blank e.g.: no files are shown.

Then, the very next time I do File>Open, the files are shown as usual.

This happens totally random.

See attachments.

NOTE that the window only shows the main dir when NO files are shown, whereas when files ARE shown,

the subdir is also shown in the window.

This happens only with Aff Designer & Aff Photo; no other application shows this behaviour.

I am inclined to lie the blame at OSX's door ( High Sierra 10.13.3) but in that case, should not

other applications also show this rather strange finder result ?

I'm curious as to what you guys think causes this...Thanks for any insight.

I don't think I have ever seen what you describe, but I have occasionally seen Finder windows a little slow to update.

Hi, RCR,

Thanks for your input.

In this case the window doesn't update atall. It stays blank.

Weirdest thing I've ever seen in either Windows or Mac systems.
