Hi, I have just purchased Affinity for my I pad, It was downloaded ok I believe, but since trying to use it, all I get for a long, long time is “loading from photos”

there are not many images in photos, I have disabled the cloud, but still just get “loading from photos”

anythought on what I may have done wrong please?

If you go into the iPad settings > Photos, do you have 'Optimise iPad Storage' or 'Download and Keep Originals' checked? Can you try switching to the other setting and see what happens. If nothing changes, you might have to do this whilst the app is uninstalled and then reinstall it once you've changed it.

Hello Chris,

decided a few hours a go to turn off I pad, since doing that all is ok!

now looking through tutorials, so thank you for your advice, will bear this in mind if I have future problems.

I am amazed what this programme can do on an I pad for under £20.

Ah that's good news—sorry it happened in the first place though. I have seen a few other people report this so we'll have to see if we can figure out what is going on!

May be a Mac thing, at times our Mac when dormant will say “loading photos, although once you touch mouse it disappears.
