Add Layer option not showing up

Hi. At the bottom right corner of the screen in Affinity Photo, there is only one layer option, the pixel layer option. There were both options for layers mere hours ago.
How could I get it back?

"Add Layer" is an option at the bottom of the Layers panel in Affinity Designer. There is no similarly named option at the bottom of the Layers panel in Affinity Photo.

Affinity Photo only uses pixels layers which is why it only has this option for a new layer while Designer can use Vector and Pixel layers and that is why it has the two add layer options.

Don't I feel like the biggest knucklehead right now.
I would have bet Beelzebub that I was in Photo at the time. I was doing the Film Noir tutorial, and was so certain that the layer option had just vanished.
