PSD export bit depth

Sure this has a simple answer, but I'm not seeing it. Where can I set the bit depth of an exported layered PSD file?

You setup the bit depth to use when you create a new document from the "color format" switch: RGB or Gray (8 or 16 bit), CMYK (8 bit), or Lab (16 bit). Affinity uses then this document color format (bit depth) also on export.

Thanks very much. So the bit depth is fixed when the Affinity doc is created, and I guess that can't be changed once you've started work omg it.

There aren't other dedicated bit depth settings for exporting PDFs, so it uses the document settings. - You should be able to check this, if you export some setup doc as PDF and look what PDF tools like Acrobat etc. show up then for the PDF file's bit depth.

No, you can change that anytime: Document>Colour Format>
