TomWolsky Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 Sure this has a simple answer, but I'm not seeing it. Where can I set the bit depth of an exported layered PSD file? Thanks very much. Quote
v_kyr Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 You setup the bit depth to use when you create a new document from the "color format" switch: RGB or Gray (8 or 16 bit), CMYK (8 bit), or Lab (16 bit). Affinity uses then this document color format (bit depth) also on export. TomWolsky Posted January 16, 2018 Author Posted January 16, 2018 Thanks very much. So the bit depth is fixed when the Affinity doc is created, and I guess that can't be changed once you've started work omg it. Quote
v_kyr Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 There aren't other dedicated bit depth settings for exporting PDFs, so it uses the document settings. - You should be able to check this, if you export some setup doc as PDF and look what PDF tools like Acrobat etc. show up then for the PDF file's bit depth.
