Toggle UI image does not move to centre of screen

Recommended Posts

Hi

New user here. I don't know if this is a bug or not, or I'm missing something but....When working on an image, if one say selects the option to have the image "zoom to fit" then hits tab on the keyboard to hide the left and right panels. The image stays in it's position, it does not enlarge and move to the middle of the screen to keep it's "zoom to fit" state. I have hit ctl + 0 to "zoom to fit" which seems unintuitive. If someone could help maybe.

Thanks.

Hi michael cox,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

As far as i know this is not a bug. The tab commamd only hides the interface - the image remains exactly at the same zoom level as it was originally. The zoom to fit command is not a toggle. It just zooms to fit whatever space is available in the application window at the moment.

However, having a "zoom to fit" toggle sounds like a useful feature request :)
