Mr Dangle Dangles
Hello there, Is there a way to have the adjustment handles of nodes mirror each other for movement along the horizontal/vertical?Eg, when a point is placed, they both are the same length as indicated by the little dash on them, but to move both of them together with the node tool so they stay symmetrical, is this possible? Also is there a way to have the handles snap to guides along axis? Eg at 90º to each other etc.Ta
Staff MEB Posted February 13, 2015 Staff Share Posted February 13, 2015 1) No, not yet, but you can make one handle snap to the same length as the other pressing shift. 2) Enable Snap off-curve nodes in the Snap section of the context toolbar for the Pen and Node tool. ronnyb 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

2kool2
Hi, Further to the previous node question could you tell me how to change a nodes properties? So I can switch between 0, 1 and 2 handles? Cheers
Staff MEB Posted February 15, 2015 Staff Share Posted February 15, 2015 Hi 2kool2 Welcome to Affinity Forums :) With the Node Tool, select the node(s) you want to change, go to the Convert section on the context toolbar (right above the work area) and click on the buttons to change to the type of node you want. To remove one of the control handles from the nodes, press alt while clicking on it. 2kool2 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
2kool2
Thanks, I'm enjoying using this product. Smooth and easy to use, though more attention to SVG output would be most welcome.
