mikech Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 It is my understanding that the program is supposed to offer update upon start of the program. I currently have v 1.6.2.97 installed on my two computers. I had an earlier version on one of the two, which I expected to offer update but it never did. [I believe it was the ver ending in 93]. Out of desperation, I copied the install file from the one that had ver ending in 97 to the older of the two installations, and installed it. Fortunately, it installed alright so that now both machines are up to date. I post this here to bring to the attention of the powers that be that this is happening. Quote

For that purpose it would probably be better to post to the Bugs on Windows forum. Staff MEB Posted January 3, 2018 Staff Posted January 3, 2018 Hi mccsc, Welcome to Affinity Forums Are you blocking the program/your internet connection with a firewall/anti-virus (or similar software) on the computer that didn't displayed the update notification? It may prevent it from being displayed. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
