Text outline/stroke? Pic attached.

I don't remember this before in previous versions so trying to understand if this is a bug or how to turn off, but there's a light red stroke or outline on my text.

Welcome to Affinity Forums

That purple lines means the object is a snapping candidate. To turn this off, go to menu View ▸ Snapping Manager... and untick Show snapping candidates or change the Candidates dropdown to anything other than Candidate List.
