XRO606 Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 What happened to the Selection button on the context toolbar for the Pen and Pencil Quote
R C-R Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 There is no Pencil tool, but if you mean the Pen Tool in its various modes, the Selection button is still there on the Context Toolbar in Affinity Photo. There is no button in Affinity Designer, so perhaps you are confusing the two apps? XRO606 Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 Sorry, I forgot to define my question as to being in Designer. There was a tutorial that used the pencil as a selection tool. But what happened to the Selection Pen Tool in Photo 1.6.1.93, Attached is the tool bar. Quote

Staff MEB Posted December 17, 2017 Staff Posted December 17, 2017 Hi XRO606, I think you are referring to the Pen Tool. Using your screenshot above as reference you can find the Pen Tool if you click the small triangle/arrow in the Node Tool icon (the one that looks an white arrow almost on bottom). It will display a pop-up where you can select the Pen Tool. See the screenshot below: This tool is used to create paths and it's the one that has the Selection and Mask buttons in the context toolbar. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
