EmpireWorld Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Hi. Recently I wanted to make an Affinity Designer importer for Unity3D, but I didn't find any documentation about what are the Affinity files and there is no documentation about it. It would be awesome to have some information about them, then we will be able to add some more plugins and importers and extend affinity designer. For example, we need documentation for .afphoto and .afdesign files. Thanks. Quote

R C-R Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Ben's post in the topic mentioned above goes into some detail about why there is no public documentation for the native Affinity file format. As he says, the format is dynamic so it is unlikely that even if the documentation was made public it would be possible to write an importer for any other app that worked reliably. EmpireWorld Posted October 4, 2017 Author Posted October 4, 2017 So it seems there is no official about the file types. I wanted to make an Affinity Designer importer for Unity, so according to Ben's Post, can I make the importer for Unity? Thanks. Quote
