free hand selection. horizontal/vertical snap?

using the free hand selection, in polygonal mode, is possible to create "squared" selection.

 

in photoshop pressing "alt" while creating the selection, it goes horizontal/vertical snap to create 100% vertical and horizontal selection segments.

 

in affinity photo -windows 10- is somewhat possible?

Is there some reason you do not want to use the Rectangular Marquee Tool for that?

I'm selecting an element to copy/paste in my rendering image to put it in a new level. It has some oblique lines, and vertical ones. So i'd like to select it with free hand instrument and have that side perfectly vertical.
