Affinity iPad Student
As title asks, is this possible? I’m noticing, whenever I place an image, it’s pulling it in from my iPad photo gallery. Could I not pull in pictures from within another project inside Affinity itself? Staff MEB Posted July 3, 2017 Staff Share Posted July 3, 2017 Hi Affinity iPad Student, Yes, you can. Select the layer (or layers if you want to copy more than one at once) in the Layers Studio then go to menu More (the three dots icon on the top) and select Pasteboard ▸ Copy. Press the <- icon on top to go back to the Welcome Screen and open the document where you want to paste the items you copied to clipboard. Go to menu Pasteboard ▸ Paste to paste them in the new document. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

Affinity iPad Student
Unfortunately this is not working. It’s either not copying onto the PB or not pasting over from the PB onto the new document. I’ve attached images. Staff MEB Posted July 4, 2017 Staff Share Posted July 4, 2017 Are you sure you have the layer selected in the Layers Studio? From your screenshots seems you don't have any object/layer selected. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Affinity iPad Student
Yes, I double checked, triple checked. Better image for you here, showing it selected. Staff MEB Posted July 4, 2017 Staff Share Posted July 4, 2017 Hi Affinity iPad Student, Yes, it's selected. So with the layer selected and tapping Copy it doesn't do nothing? Do you have a pixel selection active somewhere? Try this: switch to Selection Persona, tap the three dots on top and select Deselect, to ensure there's no active pixel selection. Then try the copy/paste process again with the selected layer. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
