Heres Johnny
Affinity apps seem a bit inconsistent when it comes to hiding bounding boxes while tweaking stuff. It's slightly annoying that the bounding box isn't temporarily hidden when browsing layer blending modes.
BobsDaubs
In both Designer and Photo you can temporarily hide the bounding box by holding down the spacebar. Hope this helps. Heres Johnny
Thanks for your reply. Yes I know that, but this doesn't work when previewing blending modes via the dropdown menu in the Layers panel. Unless I click the dropdown and close it and then navigate it with the arrow keys on the keyboard while holding the spacebar. By the way, is there a keyboard shortcut for switching blending modes like in Adobe software?
Staff MEB Posted June 21, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 21, 2017 Hi Heres Johnny, You can use the cursor keys to navigate through the Blend mode list. There's no other way to control it. Regarding the bounding box, I will pass this to the dev team. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
