Use the transform panel.

You can apply a precise angle and decide which point you want it to rotate around.

You can use that to rotate the whole layer or just an image component (image layer). If you do rotate the whole layer you will obviously have to play around with canvas size and edges (or cropping) as you will get bits in the corners that go missing.

I did not know you can rotate the transform panel. But it is not showing the correct angle (numerally). Is this a bug?

(just kidding)

For the transform panel to be active you must have both a layer selected and the move tool selected. The blue transform rectangle must be showing in the image.

Very good point. Forgot to mention the Move tool.

Hi,

After rotation, there is some missing area on the photo, so how can I expand the background to see all the photo after rotation.

Please review the attachment.

Thank you
