Basic panel missing when open Raw file

Recommended Posts

I had already opened this, edited it, saved it and I must have done something that means that now, when I open it, the Basic panel is missing.

I can't see what to do to get it back.

I've attached a snapshot of what the panels area looks like.  Hope this helps.

Hoping someone can advise me on what to do!

Many thanks

Carol

Hi Carol,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

Go to menu View ▸ Studio ▸ Basic to enable it again. If you need to reset its position (you may have dragged it out of the studio on the right of the interface) go to menu View ▸ Studio ▸ Reset Studio.

Hello

I'm working through the workbook and have come to developing Raw images.  I cannot find the Basic Panel.  I see from earlier questions that I should look in Studio.  I've tried hiding and resetting Studio but it still does't appear?

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Forums @Maggie21😊  I have just checked.  The Basic Panel is not shown if you are in the Photo Persona.  You must first change to the Develop Persona (see image below), then you can go to VIEW>STUDIO> and the Basic Panel will be available for you to check.   I hope this helps!
