How to type Vietnamese characters in Affinity?

Hi!
I am a designer who turns to learn and use Affinity Collection! Instead I am using Adobe. And I like Affinity more but somehow I can not type in Vietnamese Affinity Design but this is easy on Ai. Thanks Advance to test mode and advice help me!

 

P / S: I really expect Affinity to have an application that supports the layout of the magazine, book, ebook like Indesign !!!!

When you try and type into the app, does the text appear or does nothing happen? Is it possible to record the screen to show what's happening?

You can use the emoji and symbols item. I believe it's in the edit menu. In the pop up there's an icon that lets you activate additional character sets, such as Cyrillic. Probably Asian character sets can also be activated. (I'm don't have my MacBook nearby so I have to be a bit vague).
