VolkerMB
Hi, I just wonder whether there is an easy way in Affinity Designer (1.5.2 on Windows) to turn the background of an imported GIF file transparent? I've created a sketch comprising several elements spread all over the document. Now I want to import a greyscale GIF with a white background. My goal is to turn just the white background transparent without using masks or the selection brush. Is there a way to tell AD to remove the background of just the GIF with a few clicks? Thanks for your help! sillycat.afdesign
Staff MEB Posted May 16, 2017 Staff Share Posted May 16, 2017 Hi VolkerMB, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Select the image layer on top (plueschige-Katze) and change the Blend Mode dropdown on top of the Layers panel from Normal to Multiply.
