I am trying to import a RAW photo but when I develop it, it comes out extremely white and/or overexposed. How can I fix this? I've heard something like going to:  VIEW --> Assistant Manager --> RAW Engine --> Apple (Core Image RAW): and I did that, but it didn't work. Actually it worked the first time I tried it, but when I try it again, it doesn't work.

I have attached screenshots of the problem and the steps. Any answers? Reshooting won't work, because it was a ladybug with its babies in a flower, so that's pretty epic and unshootable now.

Thanks!

Hi curiousgeorge,

Welcome to the forums.

Can you PM me a link to the RAW file so I can test opening it on my system as I've tested sample file from a Canon T5i and that opened ok.

Sure, thanks for helping :) file:///Users/george/Desktop/ladybug%20.tiff

I hope that's ^ what you meant. I didn't know what PM means as though I am new.

Your link is to a file on your system, so only you can access it. You will have to upload your file to some server (like Dropbox) & send Lee D a private message ("PM") with a link to it for him to be able to download it. To send Lee D a PM, roll over his name on one of his posts & from the popup click the "send message" button.

Also, I've been trying to play around with it but sometimes when I try to open the picture into Affinity, it just crashes on me. Please help!
