Assets wrong color in panel

I have started to migrate all my projects from Illustrator to Affinity Designer and was very happy when I found the assets panel. unfortunatly there seems to be some issues with the color management. Not on the actual assets, but in the panel.

 

Some of the assets have changed color since I added them (yesterday afternoon), but when I drag them into a document they have the right color.

 

Is this a setting somewhere or is it a bug?

 

Attached is a screen shot of my assets, they should all have a dark grey color, but many of them have a greenish tone now..

Which operating system are you using the app on and could you tell me what colour mode the Assets were created in?

I'm using macOS Sierra version 10.12.4 and the color mode is set to RGB.

Is that the colour mode the Assets were created in or Affinity is currently set to?  Would it be possible for you to send me your Assets.propcol file? It can be found in 

 

/Users/{your username}/Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner/Data/Library/Application Support/user/. 

 

please note you will need to show hidden files to find this location.

It's the document color mode of the original file. The assets are created in Illustrator but I'm merging them inte AD.

 

How can I send you the file?

I have noticed the Assets not in the general symbols section seem to show correctly is this the case for you?

Both yes and no. Some of them have changed color, the one called Ps has a different tone of green then the one called PS-PAM. They should have the same color

This appears to be a bug, some of your assets are in CMYK which is causing the thumbnails in the Assets tab to be rendered incorrectly. I have logged this with our developers to be fixed in the future :)

Nice job to identify and work through a problem - in only one day too! I don't have a dog in this hunt... I just love to see 2 people solve stuff! Not to mention (okay, I will) it happens regularly in this forum and with these products! If I had a star, I would show 5 of them here.
