dmstraker
Could we be allowed to add a shortcut key to toggle the macro panel, please? Edit/Preferences, Shortcut keys. Photo, View. Studio > Macro. Thanks! Zbigg 1 Quote Dave Straker Cameras: Sony A7R2, RX100V Computers: Win10: Chillblast i9 Custom + Philips 40in 4K & Benq 23in; Surface Pro 4 i5; iPad Pro 11" Favourite word: Aha. - S -
For some reason the settings are split. So although the Library panel is in that location, the Macro panel is in Edit > Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts > Photo > Miscellaneous > Toggle Macro Panel. Zbigg
Hi, just purchased Photo, think of switching from PS to AP now, but... Could macro handling be somehow simplified? Eg. macro settings under RMB /right mouse button/ ? Rename, assigning key/shortcut etc etc. ? Plus maybe 'button mode' - similar to PS? Working with large series of images /1500+/ require smooth macro workflow, would be really nice to have it )) Quote cheers, AF Photo+Designer+Publisher and their betas on Win10 x64/Gtx760+AmdFX+24GB RAM

The best way to learn, as ever, is to get stuck in... Said and done, thank you, Affinity )) Only shortcuts remained. Btw. I checked spped and seems PS CS5 is much faster than AF. Checked on a small macro: change psd a few megs large into 240dpi plus 10cm height, bicubic conv. *** A question: Why in Library every macro shows unrolled menu-by default /a small tick at upper-left corner/ ? I have moaned about this already. It's a real pain. There's still lots of scope for library and macro improvement. But Serif/Affinity is a dynamic company and I've hopes for great strides in the future.
