AlRogers
I've been using Affinity Photo for Windows for a couple of months, after years with PhotoPlus, and have been mightily impressed. One issue I ran into today is how to position an image on the printed output. I had an image about 210mm square that I wanted to position at the top of an A4 sheet of photo paper but could find no way to move it vertically away from the centre of the paper. Photo Plus, if I remember correctly, and other software allow you to position an image ranged with the top, bottom or either side of the paper. Is there a way to do this in Affinity? Sorry if this topic has already been covered in the forum but I have been unable to find it. Many thanks for any help you can offer.
Staff Lee D Posted March 6, 2017 Staff Share Posted March 6, 2017 Hi AlRogers, Welcome to the forum. Affinity doesn't have options to position where an image appears when printed within the Print window. It's been requested and may be a feature thats added in a future update/version. R C-R
Would the following do as a workaround? 1. Set the document size to A4 2. Using the Move tool or Transform panel, move the image(s) to the top of the document. 3. Print. AlRogers
Thanks, Lee D. It's good to know this feature may be available in future. And your workaround sounds like it should work, R C-D. Many thanks. I'll give it a try.
NotoriousWebmaster
About 4 years later, has this feature been implemented?
