tomkilphoto
hi affinity, Noticed this morning that my fuji raf files from my xt2 are not loading with fuji in camera lens correction - is this something that could be addressed or has it been reviewed already? I understand fuji apply lens corrections in camera... Got the shock of my life looking at my out of camera .raf files compared to out of camera .jpegs!!! Hofnaar
Yes, normally fuji delivered the lens correction within the RAF files. AP just needs to read this correctly. :)
Dominique_R
If indeed AP uses the so-called "Lensfun" library, the XT2 is not on their list yet (March 18, 2017), and the list of lenses is far from complete, at least fir Nikkor. Check if your Fuji lenses are on it.
v_kyr
As already mentioned in other threads here in the forum, even Affinity uses the lensfun db library for lens corrections, that doesn't mean that they maintain themself the contents of that library. The lensfun project maintainers are responsible for this and keep the lens correction datas uptodate. So the lensfun project is continiously/evolutionary updated by their maintainers and actually (in it's current GitHub state) there are Fuji related db entries available. - Though it might probably take a while until an upcoming AP update version will take those into account, since I believe applying more uptodate lens correction data is only one of the many things the AP dev team has actually on their todo list.
