Sunset
I'm pleased with this, not because it's perfect, but because I've achieved it. It's loosely based on a photograph I took at Formby Beach on 21st June this year, I'd always wanted to see the sun set on the longest day and it was well worth the trek. I've used rectangles with linear fills and conical fills for the background (one on top of the other) and a solid dark red rectangle for the foreground, then built up the picture with lots and lots of brushes. My next step might be to create some texture styles - but not tonight :) GRScott and MattP 2 Quote MacBook Pro 11,2, Intel i7 4 core, 8Gb RAM, Graphics Intel Iris Pro. iPad Pro 11.4, 256Gb, 10.5 Retina, A10X Fusion chip, Apple pencil Desktop upgraded to Win10 64-bit, Intel i5 quad core, 8Gb RAM, NVIDIA GefORCE GT730 The Win-10 laptop is on permanent loan to my daughter...... Sunset
Thank you, both :) I enjoyed doing this and taught myself some new things,I shall carry on and learn and improve as I go :) About three hours, but that included having a few arguments with my MacPro when it would not save my work, and learning how to resize the windows so that I could see part of the photograph at the same time.
