Selection brush tool error

Just installed 1.5.0.38 and now have an error using the smart selection brush tool. On one photo with multiple separate sky sections the brush with edge snap on works fine on all sky sections except in the top left corner where it selects the entire photo. Reloading the photo did not help the issue. 

Have not seen this error before while editing multiple similar photos

Thanks for posting this. It is something I am able to replicate with your image. Although I only find this is when trying to select the top left area quickly. If i move slower then it does seem to select that area only but it's still a little finicky. I also only seem to get this with the image you've provided, I've tried a couple of other images and they seem to be working as expected. I;m not sure what makes this different but I shall keep looking into it
