Sarzanino
The questions are: 1) Is AP able to manage the NEF Files generated by Nikon D600 series cameras? I had the problem with PS 5, older than camera. 2) Are there any problems from lightroom to AP for final treatments on NEF Files ? thank you in advance for answers /suggestions. Staff MEB Posted November 18, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 18, 2016 Hi Sarzanino, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) 1. Yes, the Nikon D600 is a supported camera. 2. I've haven't tried this with NEF files. Maybe someone can help here. Sarzanino 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Fixx
I have D600 and use LR for those photos. I export 16-bit tifs from LR and there has not been any problems in further editing them in AP. Roundtrip editing LR>AP>LR should also be possible. MEB and Sarzanino
Sarzanino
Thank you very much !! Last question: on MAC Store I find 1.4.3 Version of AP. Is this the last issue ?
Staff MEB Posted November 18, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 18, 2016 Hi Sarzanino, Yes, that's the current version. It should be updated to version 1.5 in a couple weeks if everything goes well. Sarzanino
The upgrading to 1.5 will be free of charge ? The "Luminosity masking" is included in AP ? Thanks too.
Staff MEB Posted November 18, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 18, 2016 Yes, the update is free. Luminosity masks are just selections based on the brightness of the image. It's not a software feature per si but a process. So yes you can create luminosity masks in Affinity. There's a few interesting threads discussing this in the forum.
