I've noticed this issue. I haven't tested the infill in action to really know what it does currently, on the same scenario, but it seems like a fringe mask issue right now.

Thanks for the gif, was nice and easy to see what you were referring too :).

 

If i re-do this with the inpainting tool it seems to look much better, so it might very well just be the case that the sample was saved when the tool had a slight issue. Either way i've logged it for the developers to look into further.
