Cycling through dropdown menus with the arrow keys

Hi, this is a minor UI feature that I really like about windows.

 

Often, when we have dropdown menus, we are able to cycle through their options with the down/up keys.

 

This is often the case even if the dropdown menu option is selected and the menu is alread collapsed. Even then we can keep cycling through the options.

 

An example usage of this is the layer blending modes. I'm used to selecting the first (probably normal) and then use the up/down keys to cycle through the list to find the right effect.

 

It would be useful to have it.

I agree it can be a useful feature, assuming the dropdown you want to interact with has focus.
