AureaPrima
Hello, I've just made a mistake - I've clicked Remove on one of the Styles (my favourite one - Metal) in Affinity Photo. Is there a way to recover the deleted style? Best Regards AureaPrima
Staff Callum Posted November 7, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 7, 2016 Hi AureaPrima, If you go to Affinity Designer > Preferences > Miscellaneous > Reset Object Styles. It will bring back the Metal style :) make sure you export any custom styles you have made first to back them up! R C-R
I can't take credit (or responsibility!) for this because another user suggested it in another topic, but there is a clever alternative to resetting object styles that some Mac users familiar with OS X user accounts & access privileges might prefer if they have a lot of custom style groups & would like to avoid having to back up & restore them all after the reset. The general idea is to create a new user account, sign in & open AP from that account, export the missing style group to some location like the shared folder that can be accessed by the previous user account, & then sign back into that account & import it.
