Free Trial Expired Deleting the work which I saved

Recommended Posts

I just recently purchased Affinity Designer after creating a piece of work during my 10 day free trial. I put many hours into the design, and now after having purchased the full version of Designer, I am not able to find the saved file anywhere nor open up the work. How can I recover this file? Or do I have to start from scratch?

We wouldn't have deleted your work when installing the full version of Affinity. It may not show in your recent files list, but it must still be on your drive somewhere (unless you have deleted it yourself).

I'd advise checking your Trash, and trying to do a search for .afdesign files on the whole of your drive.

Type "afdesign" (without the quotes) in Finder's search field. It should offer you the choice to search for Affinity Design documents, like this:
