Designer How Do I Get My Free Grade Ui Pack With Affinity Designer?

Hello, I can't seem to find the graphic with the link to download the UI pack when I start up AD. I'm on a mac. Also, I have version 1.4.3, is it possible to update the software to a more recent version? Thank you!
Free Trial Expired Deleting the work which I saved

I just recently purchased Affinity Designer after creating a piece of work during my 10 day free trial. I put many hours into the design, and now after having purchased the full version of Designer, I am not able to find the saved file anywhere nor open up the work. How can I recover this file? Or do I have to start from scratch?
