Rik
Well, it seems that if you create a file in Affinity Designer, then it will not open in Affinity Designer for windows. That's not very helpful. A very good friend of mine, sent me a file, which he created in Windows, and I can't open it on my MacBook. R C-R
The Windows beta creates files in the new Affinity 1.5 format, which is not compatible with the Mac 1.4.x versions. However, the Mac beta, available for download from the link in this topic, also creates files in the new file format & will open a file created with the Windows beta. Be sure to read the info in the topic about the beta. Neither the Mac nor Windows betas are intended for production use, so anything your friend sends you created in the Windows beta should be considered experimental/for testing purposes only.
