FMA
Each time I attempt to download any of the resources (aside from a few brushes) at http://www.miguelboto.com/affinity/resources/ I receive an error. In example, I download a style from the mentioned URL and an error message which reads; "the file appears to be corrupted" after I unzip the file. This happens with each download. I feel I must be doing something wrong since these are being offered on the Resource page. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
Staff MEB Posted September 22, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 22, 2016 Hi FMA, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) The links on that page only point to the respective thread in the forums where the files were shared. Can you please specify the name of the resource(s) you are trying to download so I can check what's going on? Thanks. FMA
Hi, Two examples: Letters & Embossing styles and Dream Metals. But I get the "The file appears to be corrupted" with nearly every file I attempt to download. I unzip then Affinity Designer opens and the error message pops up. Thanks! R C-R
You must import the unzipped .afstyles files into the Styles panel. You can't open them directly into the app. To do this, on the Styles panel, click on the three line 'hamburger' icon & select "Import Styles Category..." In the open file window that pops up, navigate to the unzipped .afstyles file, select it, & click the Open button.
