Jonopen
1) Although I have increased my Windows menu font size to 12pt (Windows Control Panel --> Appearance and Personalisation --> Display) I’m experiencing some clipping of menu text in the Swatches panel menu (see attached screenshot). The main dropdown menus and their respective submenus all display ok. 2) Not sure if this is/was actually a design decision to help maintain a flat, clean interface, but I think the search option at the bottom of the Swatches panel would be more intuitive if there was a field to enter text into. Mark Ingram
Hi Janopen, we can probably sort the menu clipping issue. There is actually a text box there, it's just that your increased font size has clipped it as well. I've attached an image.
Jonopen
Re: clipping texted. Thanks. Re: the swatch panel text box. I've just returned the Windows font size back to 9pt which I think is the default size, and signed out/in of Windows as required, but still couldn't see the box! However with the font still at 9pt, but scaling increased to 125% the box then displays for me. Using Windows scaling is a better option for me most of the time, and works really well with Affinity Designer, but I do have one or two apps that really don't like it, so it's getting a balance. v2.5.3 Designer/Photo/Publisher | Mac mini (M1, 2020) | Sonoma 14.
