PSD file cannot open "The File Could Not Be Parsed"

Recommended Posts

Greetings.

I created a file IN Affinity Photo.  When I export the .afphoto file to a PSD and go back to open the PSD in Affinity, the file does not open, with the error message "The File Could Not Be Parsed."

I created two files (inside and outside of a matchbook) and my local printer could only open 1 of the files.  Why would this one (randomly) not work?  Again, when I go back to open it in Affinity, I get the error message, "The File Could Not Be Parsed."

Thoughts?

Thank you.

Hi Saltdesign,

If you open it in Preview and resave it does it open in Affinity?

I've uploaded the .afphoto file to the link.  It's under the name Amy McBride.

Thank you for looking into it.

When I opened the PSD in Preview and resaved, it didn't open in Affinity after.

Thank you for the suggestion.
