stardust_0427 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Hi, I am having a bit of a problem. I need to reposition an image without moving its mask. I can't seem to figure out how to do that. If I select the mask, only the mask moves. If I select the image only, both image and mask move. I can't find a link icon (like in photoshop) anywhere. Can anybody help me? Thank you. Quote
NotMyFault Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Use the move tool, and activate „lock children“. Any child layers, including mask layers, keep their position, and you can move the parent layer. This is because they have selected a child layer rather than the parent one. stardust_0427 and NotMyFault 2 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.6 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.7
