Gerarbara Posted March 15 Posted March 15 I had done some minor editing and normally crop or rotate in the Photo Persona. But my image only required a slight rotation so after selecting the Crop tool I rotate a couple of degrees using the corner nodes when Affinity 2.6.0 froze, then my cursor and laptop froze. Ctrl/Alt/Delete didn't work so the only solution was to shut down with the power switch. I can't send you any logs as it was not possible to do anything. Staff NathanC Posted March 17 Staff Posted March 17 Hi @Gerarbara, I'd recommend actioning either of the following, and then seeing how it goes moving forward: - In Affinity Photo, under Edit -> Settings -> Performance, disable 'Hardware Acceleration' and then close the interface and restart the app when prompted to. - Disable 'Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling' in Windows settings. This can be found under Windows Settings -> System -> Display -> Graphics -> Advanced Graphics settings. It would be advisable to perhaps perform a reboot after toggling this off and trying the apps with H/A enabled again. See the post below concerning System freezes. Quote
